Yes. Comedy is subjective and certain comedians are not for everybody. Watching a YouTube clip or reading the headliner's biography is a great way to get insight on the expected performance.

How many showrooms are there?

There are two showrooms. Fat Man is our larger headliner showroom and Little Boy is our smaller showroom, featuring the best of local and national talent in a more intimate setting.

How long do the shows typically last?

Shows are usually between 90 and 115 minutes, although the show’s actual length is entirely dependent on the headliner and what their current performance calls for.

Is there a drink minimum?

There is a two drink minimum, including non-alcoholic beverages.

What is the Showroom like? How does seating work?

The Showroom arrangement is similar to a cabaret theater – chairs surrounding tables, facing the stage with friendly and discreet table service.

General Admission tickets and VIP Booth tickets are first come first served seating for each ticket type.

Are there any age restrictions?

We are a 21+ venue.

Is your club smoke-free?

Yes, however smoke may be used at times by the comedians on stage.

What is the difference between Reserved and General Admission?

Reserved seats are pre-assigned for you by management. They are the best seats available for your party size at the time of assigning.

The entire party needs to be together to enter the venue.

General Admission seating is available on a first-come, first-sat basis. The earlier you arrive, the better your seats will be. Ticket purchasers who arrive on time are guaranteed seating.

Please Note: We are not able to accommodate specific seating requests at this time.

What time should I arrive?

The box office and lobby will open 1 hour before showtime for all shows. We recommend that ticket holders arrive at least 30 minutes before showtime.

ATTENTION: If you have not arrived at the venue within 30 minutes of showtime, your tickets will be cancelled and your seat may be sold to the next customer. No refunds will be given under this circumstance. The Comedy Mothership reserves this right on all ticketed events.

How can I ensure that my party is seated together?

General admission is first-come, first-seated as you enter the showroom, so seating preference cannot be guaranteed. However, general admission ticket holders who arrive at least 30 minutes before showtime and enter the showroom together have the best chance of being seated as a group.

Reserved ticket holders must purchase tickets as a group in a single transaction to be assigned seating together.

Please Note: Larger groups may be seated at multiple tables in the same area. These tables cannot be rearranged or pushed together

What are Yondr Bags and does your venue use them?

We do use Yondr bags. Yondr creates phone-free spaces for artists and comedians. Upon arrival at the venue, all phones and smart watches are placed in Yondr cases by our staff and will be unlocked at the end of the show. Guests maintain possession of their phones at all times. Guests may access their phones in the designated Phone Use Areas throughout the venue at any time.

Is there parking available?

There are plenty of paid parking lots around the area. If you can find a space on 6th Street between Red River and Congress Avenue, it is mostly free 2 hour parking, and metered spaces are free after 6:00pm Monday through Wednesday. Parking is free all day Sunday.

Is the club fully accessible?

Yes, our Main showroom and smaller showroom are fully accessible. Call our box office for more information. We encourage all patrons who have a disability to reach out to us to make accommodations.
